Teen Care

I know when pregnant and parenting teens are supported, educated, respected and not judged, they have the capacity to make wiser choices. I firmly believe teen parents should be educated and know

their legal rights to make medical decisions during pregnancy, birth and parenting and these rights should be upheld and respected. Teen Fathers who are actively involved, supported, and encouraged during pregnancy and birth process creates strong bonds with their babies.

I want to help create and support a community among pregnant and parenting teens that will foster better parenting practices. I do not replace the Doctor, Midwife, Father or the Grandparents. They enhance the experience of childbearing. I can accompany you to your childbirth classes and 2 of your appointments with your health care provider.

Ante partum Care

I specialize in supporting women and their families going through a high-risk or difficult pregnancy. Whether it's an expecting Mom that needs support or would like someone to accompany her to the doctor's appointment. I also assist mothers and their families by offering practical help such as running errands, creating a command center for the mother, meal preparation and sibling care. I do not perform any clinical care, my role is no-medical.

Your placenta is an amazing organ, it is the source of nourishment and elimination for your fetus throughout your pregnancy. It stores hormones, stem cells, iron, and more. By ingesting your placenta in pill form, you can reap the benefits of your placenta without the "icky" factor you might feel after preparing it yourself.

Each placenta is different in size and substance so it can vary anywhere from 90 to 140 capsules. After two weeks you can start to decrease the dosage down to one or two pills a day as needed. Additionally, you get a longer, sustained application over the first month postpartum than if it was ingested immediately after birth. Some people have been known to freeze any remaining capsules to take during physically and hormonally stressful times or during menopause.

First the placenta is washed and then I use the Traditional Chinese Medicine method to gently steam the placenta over low heat with warming herbs (lemon, ginger and pepper). The placenta is then thinly sliced and dehydrated for several hours. Next, the placenta is ground into a fine powder and then put into capsules. My turn around time is 24 hours from the time I receive your placenta.
